Mit unserem Fahrzeug „e-fish“ starten wir beim Wettbewerb in der Kategorie „UrbanConcept“. Das Fahrzeug wiegt circa 97 Kilogramm. Dieses geringe Gewicht kann nur durch den Aluminiumrahmen und der Carbon Karosserie erzielt werden. So wie wir, muss auch jedes andere Team die Reifen bei Shell kaufen, sodass gleiche Wettbewerbsbedingungen herrschen. Der Antrieb unseres Fahrzeuges erfolgt durch einen Elektromotor, der durch einen Akku mit Strom versorgt wird. Bei Sonnenschein konnten zusätzlich durch die 0,65m² große Solarfläche Strom eingespeist werden. Seit 2016 sind allerdings keine Solarzellen mehr beim Marathon erlaubt.
Geschraubt wird in der Werkstatt, in der ehemalst der spritsparende "Jetcar" angefertigt wurde.
With our vehicle "e-fish" we take part in the category "UrbanConcept". The vehicle weighs about 97 kilograms and we only achieved this extremely low weight through an aluminium frame and the carbon body. Each team has to buy their tires from Shell so that the conditions of the competition are equal. Our vehicle is powered by an electric motor that is provided with electricity by a battery. When the sun was shining we also gained power through the 0.65m² solar surface. However, since 2016 solar cells are not allowed in the competition anymore.
We work in the workshop where the fuel- efficient "Jetcar" was built once.
